Ryan Sharkey

Ryan Sharkey currently serves as Senior Vice President of Programming and Content Strategy at The CW Network, overseeing the development of content strategies and long-term planning to ensure business growth and profitability since 2023. Prior to this role, Ryan was with NBCUniversal from 2011 to 2023, where significant contributions included establishing the film and series acquisitions foundation for the launch of Peacock and leading content acquisition efforts across multiple cable networks. With an extensive career at NBCUniversal beginning in 2002, Ryan held various positions including Vice President and Director in content acquisitions, managing substantial programming budgets and integrating teams post-merger. Ryan's early career included roles at GE and Provident Bank, showcasing a strong background in financial analysis and operations. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
