David Gutelius

David Gutelius has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a Board of Directors member at Voga Coffee in 2017. David then went on to co-found and serve as the CEO of Motiva.ai, where they utilized artificial intelligence and data mining for marketing solutions. In 2013, they co-founded The Data Guild, a mission-driven venture studio focused on healthcare, energy, security, and economic development. David has also served as an advisor at companies like Error Corp, Village Capital, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. David is a member, investor, and advisor at Gaingels, a venture investment syndicate supporting the LGBT community. Additionally, they have been involved in philanthropic efforts through their role as a pledger at Founders Pledge. David has also been an investor in various companies, primarily focusing on health, energy, security, and enterprise productivity with a specific interest in AI augmentation. David has mentored at Alchemist Accelerator since 2019.

David Gutelius holds a Ph.D. in Economic History and an MA in Economic History from The Johns Hopkins University. David also obtained a BA in History, World Perspectives from Principia College.
