Jonathan Owen

Jonathan Owen has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they were the Chair of IEEE Rochester GOLD and a Race Timer for Yellow Jacket Racing. In 2010, they became a Service Support Engineer for GatesAir (formerly a division of Harris Corp). In 2017, they were an Order Fulfillment Associate (OFA) for The Home Depot, as well as an Instructor for Nucamp.co, teaching HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In 2018, they were a Software Developer for HCL Technologies, where they reduced the number of assigned active bugs by 50% within one week of project start. In 2019, they were a Software Developer for Facebook (TEK Systems) and a Full Stack Developer for Traveltek Ltd. Lastly, in 2020, they became a Sr. Frontend Developer & Team Lead for McDermott Group Ltd, where they developed front end apps to provide task, client, and job management with a custom form creation and completion system.

Jonathan Owen attended Alfred University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. In 2017, they completed a course in Full Stack Web Development at Coding Dojo.
