Ignacio Blanco

Ignacio Blanco is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, natural area management, and sustainable development. Notable roles include Programme Officer at the United Nations ESCAP, where leadership was provided for an inclusive business initiative funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Investment Manager at Corporacion de Desarrollo Social del Sector Rural, overseeing the design and implementation of investment projects. Ignacio has also served as Multi-Country Programme Manager for SNV, managing programs across Cambodia, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Zambia. With a solid academic background including a Master's in Environment and Development from King's College London and a Master's in Poverty Reduction from the School of Oriental and African Studies, Ignacio has consistently demonstrated expertise in capacity development, stakeholder engagement, and financial accountability across diverse sectors and regions.
