Declan Garvey

Declan Garvey has held various editorial positions at The Dispatch, showing a progression from Associate Editor to Senior Editor to Executive Editor. Prior to their work in journalism, Declan interned at Promus Ventures, Echelon Insights, and Hamilton Place Strategies. At Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA), Declan worked as a Program Assistant, focusing on integrating individuals with disabilities into recreation programs. With a Bachelor's Degree in History from Harvard University, Declan also has experience as a Market Development Coordinator at Garvey's Office Products and as an Umpire at Glenview Youth Baseball.
