The Dog Rescue Project is a New Zealand based rescue dedicated to giving vulnerable dogs a second chance at life. We work to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need, while advocating for responsible ownership, education, and long term animal welfare solutions.

Our mission is built on compassion, community, and the belief that every dog deserves safety, care, and a loving home. From emergency rescues to ongoing support for foster families and adopters, we are committed to creating brighter futures for dogs across Aotearoa.

Through collaboration, awareness, and hands on rescue work, The Dog Rescue Project aims to reduce suffering, strengthen the human-animal bond, and inspire lasting change for dogs and the people who love them.

Every dog deserves to thrive.
