Set within the picturesque backdrop of the Malvern Hills, The Downs Malvern is a vibrant day, weekly, flexi and full-boarding independent prep school for girls and boys aged 3 – 13 years.

Part of the Malvern College Family of Schools, pupils at The Downs benefit from excellent teaching alongside superb extra-curricular, boarding and sports facilities, including a state-of-the-art sports hall, art studio, IT suite, all-weather sports pitch, and we even boast the oldest private miniature railway in the world, The Downs Light Railway.

In addition to our wonderful day pupils, we are justly proud of our diverse community of boarders, both British and international, and can offer boarding packages to suit all needs.

A prep school in the truest sense; we provide a full, enriching education that equips pupils to achieve their very best, wherever their journey takes them.
