Travis Pearson has a diverse work experience in the social enterprise nonprofit sector. Travis started their career in 2003 at The DPI Group, where they served as the President and CEO. Under their leadership, the organization rebranded and made a significant impact on employing people with disabilities. In 2007, Pearson worked as a General Manager at DePaul Industries for a couple of years. Travis then returned to DePaul Industries in 2011, this time as the Vice President/COO, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business units. In 2015, they were promoted to the role of President/CEO, where they reorganized the management structure, improved company culture, and focused on employee recruitment and retention.

Travis Pearson earned a Bachelor's degree in Military Intelligence, Command Control, and Information Operations from American University between 2000 and 2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington State University from 2011 to 2013.
