David Semanik

David Semanik currently serves as the Senior Director of IT & Cybersecurity (CISO) at The Eastern Company, where responsibilities include leading the Information Security and IT organization and mentoring IT teams. Prior to this role, Semanik was the Director of IT & Cybersecurity at Eberhard Manufacturing Company and held similar positions at TransDigm Group Inc. and its subsidiary AeroControlex, as well as Nook Industries. Semanik’s extensive experience encompasses managing IT operations, cyber security, and strategic planning. Educational credentials include a degree in Executive Leadership & IT Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and a degree in Building Engineering, Computer Automation & Controls from Westside Institute of Technology.
