Giya Sood

Giya Sood is an undergraduate student at Ashoka University and serves as the Editor in Chief of The Edict. They founded the initiative Mind Your Language to promote the use of sensitive language towards individuals with disabilities and established Samajh Se Suraksha to enhance sex education in schools. Giya has held roles as Music Head and Managing Partner with Melodies for Hope, where they organized fundraising concerts, and has experience as a writing intern with Shakti-The Empathy Project. They are currently interning at The Voice of Fashion and will serve as a Teaching Assistant in the Creative Writing Department.
