The Engine Works is a former steelworks dating back to 1837, which has been sympathetically restored and repurposed as a multifaceted arts & events space, unlike any other.

Enter a space that brings the tradition of Glasgow’s proud industrial history and blends it with a modern, contemporary and visionary concept where the only limit to its use, is your imagination.

With full branding opportunities, The Engine Works can transform into
a decedent and luxurious event as easily as it can be a concert, play or gallery.

Working with the team onsite, your event will be unrivalled in its individuality as together we use the space to create a spectacle that will leave a lasting impression on all who attend.

From filming to product showcases, conferences to gallery space, board meetings to fine dining events, tech events to food festivals The Engine Works is the UKs most flexible event and office space.

Flooded with natural light, the building has sympathetically been restored to its former glory – and beyond. With care taken over many years to bring back to life the buildings story, from the original brickwork and features being restored and replaced, the history of the building still remains at the heart of The Engine Works, and now with a contemporary and modern design, we have created a space synonymous with quality and innovation.
