Since the dawn of time man has studied the sun... and EPPLEY has been providing the best instrumentation since 1917.

Located in Newport, Rhode Island USA, the Eppley Laboratory has been committed to developing the finest scientific instrumentation for precision measurements since 1917. The Meteorology Department produces radiometer, pyranometers, pyrheliometers and pyrgeometers that measure solar and terrestrial radiation. Many National Meteorological Authorities are using Eppley Instrumentation as their standards for radiometric measurements.

This Precision Solar Measurement Instrumentation is used for:
1. Meteorology: Climate Study, Long Term Monitoring & Modeling
2. Solar Power: Site Selection, Predictions & Performance Testing
3. Reference Cells: Comparison & Traceability
4. Material Testing: UV Degradation, Vehicle Systems Testing
