EQUAL is a purpose-built professional networking platform designed to connect leaders from every sector to others with a shared commitment to advance gender equality and health equity. Our aim is to connect people across diverse sectors to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and build impactful partnerships worldwide.

The idea for EQUAL grew out of a clear gap in the professional networking space. Despite incredible talent and commitment across sectors, there is no dedicated digital infrastructure connecting the people driving progress on gender and health globally. Researchers struggle to share findings beyond academia, advocates often lack access to evidence and policy partners, and too many innovative projects operate in isolation, away from funding opportunities and collaborators.

The world is facing unprecedented health inequalities and gender-related challenges. Millions of girls are out of school, millions of people lack access to basic menstrual health products, and crises from conflict, displacement, and policy setbacks continue to disproportionately impact women and marginalized communities. EQUAL provides a dedicated space where those voices can be heard and connected to resources, partners, and funding to enable meaningful change.
