Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson is an Army Engineer Officer and currently serves as the Chief of Military Support at The Army & Air Force Exchange Service, where they lead joint initiatives and have saved over $35M in the last fiscal year. With more than 16 years of operational leadership and project management experience, Peter was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel based on merit and has a distinguished record including 19 months of deployment in Iraq. Peters' educational background includes three master's degrees in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, and Military Studies, complemented by a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. They are also an Engineer-in-Training preparing for the Professional Engineer exam scheduled for October 2026. Peter is a dedicated individual with a passion for service, enriched by a family legacy of duty and commitment to safeguarding communities.
