Janet Petitpas

Janet Petitpas is the Director of Collections and Exhibit Galleries at the Exploratorium, where they create and execute the vision for interactive exhibits and manage collections processes. Previously, they served as Deputy Director at the Bay Area Discovery Museum from 1991 to 2007, overseeing day-to-day operations and community programs. Janet's experience also includes roles as a Senior Associate at Gyroscope, Inc., and a Data Officer at Fielding Primary School. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Business from Boston University and a Master’s in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University.
