Mizuko Ito

Mizuko Ito is a cultural anthropologist and learning scientist studying children and youth's new media use. They are the Director of the Connected Learning Lab and a Professor in Residence at UC Irvine, where they have served since 2008. As the Executive Director of the Connected Learning Alliance and Co-Founder and CEO of Connected Camps, they continue to influence educational technology and youth Internet culture. Mizuko also holds a position on the Board of Directors at the Exploratorium and previously worked as a researcher at the University of Southern California from 2002 to 2008. They earned a degree from Stanford University in 1991.
