Sylvia Algire has extensive experience in program leadership, particularly in the educational and collaborative sectors. Serving as the Director of Program Experience at the Exploratorium from April 2006 to May 2024, Sylvia led teams focused on Public Programs and Global Collaborations, enhancing community engagement through a diverse array of programs and partnerships. Previous roles include Program Director and Teaching Artist at the Museum of Children's Arts, as well as various positions at the Exploratorium, including Director of School Field Trip Explainer Program. Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education with a concentration in Digital/New Media Arts from San Francisco State University, where studies were completed between January 2004 and January 2006.
