Ryan Amore has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Ryan started their career as a Senior Technical Manager and Pattern Maker at OAK + FORT from 2021 to 2022. Ryan then worked as a Senior Pattern Manager and Pattern Maker at RYU Apparel Inc. from 2019 to 2022.
Prior to that, Ryan worked as a Garment Technologist and Pattern Maker at Christian Dior Couture from 2018 to 2022. Ryan also served as a Pattern Manager and Pattern + Fit Technician at CYC Design Corporation - Reigning Champ from 2021 to 2022.
Ryan has been self-employed as a High Fashion and Haute Couture Pattern Maker since 2010, providing expert services to clients in Canada, USA, and Europe. Ryan specializes in creating intricate and detailed patterns for various high fashion brands and garments.
Ryan is the owner and director of technical development at Ryan Amore Inc, a premium technical development firm. Ryan provides clients with all the necessary assets for garment manufacturing, including tech packs, patterns, and 3D fit documents. Ryan also has their own private label division called Cadence Apparel, which focuses on creating fitness clothing with attention to detail and a comfortable fit.
In addition, Ryan owns and operates Préséance, a division of Ryan Amore Inc. specializing in making slow-fashion products that are locally crafted in Canada.
Ryan has also founded The Pattern Design Lab, where they serve as the CEO. Finally, they have experience as a lead pattern engineer, grading technician, 3D engineer, and partnerships/growth specialist at The Fitting Room since 2023.
Ryan Amore has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion Design from Toronto Metropolitan University. Additionally, they have another Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the same university. The start and end years for both degrees are not mentioned.

The Fitting Room
The Fitting Room is reimagining the apparel category end-to-end. We are building 3D deep tech, infrastructure and network to make custom-fit, Made-To-Order (MTO) apparel affordable and accessible to the everyday shopper, while blurring the lines between physical and digital apparel shopping. Our 3D deep tech will forever redefine the way we shopfor, and interact with apparel via 3D avatar creation and photorealistic 3D visualization of custom-fit garments. Our infrastructure essentially brings Kaizen/lean manufacturing practices to fashion, allowing brands to transition from a mass production model to made-to-order, while maintaining the same or better margins. This transition will make the fashion industry more sustainable by preventing over-production (which currently accounts for 40% of all clothes made).
