Barry Chen

Barry Chen is currently the VP of Research and Development at The Floor. Barry has over 20 years of experience in the field of research and development, with a focus on the banking industry.

Barry started their career at IDF, where they worked as a Project Officer for 5 years. Barry then moved to PalMedic, where they were the Founder and Development Manager for 2 years. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of new products and technologies.

After PalMedic, Barry joined HarmonyCOM as a Group Leader. Barry spent 2 years 10 months in this role before moving to Emblaze, where they were a Senior Engineer and Technical Project Manager for 1 year. Barry then joined Ness as a Product Line Manager, spending 1 year 6 months in this role.

In 2009, Barry joined Discount Bank as an R&D Manager. Barry spent 11 years at Discount Bank, holding various positions including Senior Manager of R&D Projects & Solutions, Mortgage & Credit and Manager of R&D Projects, Mortgage Solutions. In their most recent role at Discount Bank, Barry was responsible for leading a team of researchers and developers in creating new mortgage products and solutions.

Barry joined The Floor in 2020 as the VP of Research and Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading the development of new products and technologies that will shape the future of banking.

Barry Chen has a MBA from Tel Aviv University, an MA in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University, and a B.A. and B.Sc. in Electronics from Technion.
