The Folk Tales works for Rural and Responsible community based travel in India. It's primary purpose is to bring forth the beautiful villages of India to travelers and in the process use tourism as a medium to sustain local economies and encourage village entrepreneurs. The Folk Tales promotes Homestays, Trekking trails in off-beat regions and Organic farms.

Often times travelers visit only the well known destinations and miss out on the smaller pleasures of life like living with a local family, participating in a festival, seeing the wildlife with a local and spending time like a local. The Folk Tales makes this opportunity available. We encourage families, group travel as well as backpackers.
