Avery Loftis

Avery Loftis is an aspiring journalist currently serving as an Editorial Intern at Dotdash Meredith for Travel + Leisure Magazine since June 2024. Previously, Avery has held multiple editorial positions, including Editor in Chief and Arts & Culture Editor at The Fordham Observer, where responsibilities included recruiting writers, editing articles, and collaborating with a large editorial team. Additional experience includes reporting for WFUV Public Radio, managing social media for Fordham University, and completing an Administrative Assistant Internship at MUSÉE MAGAZINE. Avery's commitment to education and empowerment is demonstrated through roles as an Instructor Assistant at Kode With Klossy, where skills in programming were taught to young women and non-binary individuals. Avery is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs at Fordham University.
