As the author of The Sugarmakers Companion, our co-founder and CEO Michael Farrell wrote the book on tree syrup production. Michael served as Director of Cornell University’s Maple Research Center for 13 years before leaving in 2017 to start The Forest Farmers and bring tree saps and syrups to a new level.
