Breen Sullivan

Breen Sullivan is the founder of The Fourth Effect, a market network that connects high-impact startups with game-changing advisors, diverse board candidates, and investors to support board-driven growth. The Fourth Effect's ecosystem includes 600+ ecosystem companies, 1,400+ board-ready women, and 100+ women-led funds and investors. They have over 10 years of experience as a General Counsel and C-level executive for startup and high-growth companies. They previously served as Chief Administrative Officer at Watermark (2018–2020), General Counsel at Bright Power (2013–2016), and Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Known (2016–2018). They earned a BA in Theater Studies from Yale University (1997–2001) and JDs from the University of California, Berkeley (2005) and Tulane University (2005–2008).
