Marco Alvarez

Marco Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and project management. Marco started their career in 2008 with DGCM, where they worked as a Tester, primarily focusing on batch and distributed environments and validating the functionality of applications for BBVA Bancomer. Marco then moved on to Infosyst in 2010, where they continued to provide testing services for BBVA Bancomer, specializing in the Medios de Pago application. In 2011, Marco joined Hildebrando as a Project Leader, coordinating the development factory in HOST for Hildebrando's main client, BBVA Bancomer. Marco specialized in the ALTAMIRA platform.

From 2013 to 2013, they briefly served as a Project and Product Manager at Infosyst, before joining Stefanini as a Test Leader in 2017. At Stefanini, they led testing initiatives until 2018.

In 2015, Marco joined Stefanini Mexico as a Project Leader, a role they held until 2020. During their time at Stefanini, they worked on various projects.

Marco joined Capgemini in 2018 as a Test Leader and worked until 2020.

In 2021, they joined Wipro as a Senior Test Lead.

Most recently, Marco has been working at The Functionary as a QA Project Lead, starting in February 2020. Their work experience showcases their expertise in testing, project management, and leadership roles.

Marco Alvarez attended the Universidad del Valle de México from 2000 to 2004, where they received a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de sistemas. Marco also holds a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de sistemas from the same university, although the specific dates of this degree are not provided. Additionally, Marco attended CECC, where they obtained a Técnico en Sistemas Computacionales with a focus on Sistemas.
