The Fund Incubator Limited (“TFI”) is a regulatory umbrella, supporting emerging fund managers and investment services navigate the complexities of regulation in the early stages of their life cycle.

TFI has managed and mentored 80+ VC / PE funds with over £1.2bn+ worth of commitments including Antler, Cornerstone, Hatch, Passion Capital and SeedCamp. TFI is committed to supporting underrepresented fund managers. It was acquired in 2016 by Barry Lawson and Stephen Geddes.

TFI’s regulatory umbrella helps resolve problems faced by first-time fund managers created by the very substantial time that it takes the FCA to deal with applications. It supports the development, experience and systems of new fund managers so that they are able to make more credible FCA applications and demonstrate to investors a sophisticated approach to operating a fund.
