Todd Deacon

Todd Deacon is a seasoned professional in the sports and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as General Partner at AO Ventures and Wildcard Ventures since July 2021, Todd is focused on investments related to the Australian Open Grand Slam and Tennis Australia. In addition, Todd is a Partner at The Fund, investing in pre-seed stage startups across Australia and New Zealand, and holds a directorial position at Netball Australia. Previous roles include Managing Director at Techstars, where Todd concentrated on global early-stage SportsTech investments, and Commissioner for the inaugural Super Netball League. As a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Unscriptd, Todd played a pivotal role in developing an athlete media platform, which was later acquired by The Players' Tribune. Todd began a notable career at Gemba as Head of Insights and held a managerial role at EY Sweeney. Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Monash University.
