Marcel van Dorp

Marcel van Dorp has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marcel worked as a Project Manager/Program Manager and Business Consultant at The Future Group from October 2018 to the present. In 2020, Marcel joined Politie Nederland as a Quarter Master for Agile Transformation and Project Manager for the Production Line Connect. In 2019, Marcel worked as an Interim Manager and Project Manager at OEC Holding BV, specializing in automotive software. Marcel also had a long tenure at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., starting in 1990. Marcel held various roles such as Program Manager for Retail Strategy Support, Head of Business Advisory/Team Lead Business Analysis in Retail and Commercial Banking, Project Manager for Client Services MKB, Regional Manager for Client Service & Implementation, Head of Project Management for Investments, Business Development Project Manager, Strategic Consultant for Electronic Commerce, Senior Consultant and Team Lead for Financial Electronic Data Interchange, and Project Leader for Electronic Banking & International Cash Management. Marcel began their career as an Information Analyst/Applications Developer at Wereldhave in 1987.

Marcel van Dorp has a diverse education history that spans several decades. In 1983, they began their studies at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Bedrijfskundige Informatica. Marcel completed their undergraduate studies in 1989.

After gaining professional experience, Marcel returned to school in 2008 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Marcel completed the Executive MBA program in 2009.

In 2021, Marcel enrolled in a Post HBO program at UBS/ Utrecht Business School, specializing in Verandermanagement & Leiderschap. Marcel is expected to complete this program in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Marcel has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. These include the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in March 2022, and the Certified SAFe 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in July 2020.
