William HL Sin is an experienced professional in innovation strategy and community engagement, currently serving as Chief of Innovation Strategy, Head of Community Innovation, and Project Manager at Good Lab 好單位 since June 2020. Additionally, William is the Director and Co-founder of Happy Ageing Lab since April 2019 and has held the position of Research Director at the Hong Kong Public Space Initiative since April 2011. Prior roles include Project Coordinator at the Yunus Social Business Centre at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from May 2017 to June 2020, and Teaching Assistant in the Urban Studies Programme from September 2013 to August 2015. William’s early career included positions as Assistant Consultant focusing on Cultural Heritage with ERM: Environmental Resources Management. William holds a Master of Science in Geoinformation Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Anthropology, and Geography from the University of Oregon.

Good Lab is a non-profit and award-winning social innovation consultancy in Hong Kong dedicated to inspiring and fostering positive social change through human-centred design and cross-sector collaboration. As a think-and-do tank, our mission is to connect different minds and actions to bring innovative ideas to life. We design and implement social innovation projects and training programmes to raise awareness of and tackle some of the most complex social issues faced by our society nowadays, particularly in the areas of community design, youth empowerment, civic participation, service innovation, environmental sustainability, and social venture incubation. Since 2012, we have been working at the intersection of civil society, NGOs, Government, and businesses to facilitate innovative co-creation leveraging Design Thinking.
