Founded in 1926, The Guild continues to fulfil its original vision:

"To provide a centre in which people may find opportunities for the enrichment of life through education, fellowship and co-operative effort for the welfare of the community"

The Guild receives over 6,000 enrolments to more than 500 courses each academic year. Striving to enhance social inclusion and personal development, we are now operating at 14 different locations within East Cheshire including Macclesfield, Stockport and Crewe.

With 18 active clubs, groups and societies and the engagement of around 1,000 participants, we continue our efforts in building stronger, active and inclusive communities.
