Katya Watson

Katya Watson is currently the President of Multifamily at The Guild. Prior to this, they were with Greystar Real Estate Partners for 12 years, where they worked their way up from Community Manager to Senior Regional Property Manager. In April 2021, they left Greystar to become President at Cypress Real Estate Advisors, but only stayed for 9 months before returning to The Guild.

Katya has over 20 years of experience in the property management industry. Katya started their career at Bluestar Management in 2000 as a Property Manager. Katya then spent 2 years at Greystar Real Estate Services as a Community Manager before moving up to Senior Regional Property Manager at Greystar Real Estate Partners. In April 2021, they left Greystar to become President at Cypress Real Estate Advisors, but only stayed for 9 months before returning to The Guild.

Katya Watson has a bachelors degree in business administration with a focus in management from The University of Texas-Pan American. Katya also has a certification from the National Apartment Association as a Certified Apartment Manager.

They are on a team with Chris Davis - VP, Growth, Mike M. - Senior Director, Real Estate, and Tamesha Walker - Controller. Katya Watson reports to Brian Carrico, Co-Founder & CEO.
