Robert Mendoza

Robert Mendoza is the Senior Director of Sales at The Guild. Robert was promoted to this position in November 2018 after serving as the Regional Director of Sales. As Senior Director of Sales, Mendoza oversees all outbound Sales efforts, including the hiring and managing of the 5-person Corporate Sales team and 10-person Reservation Team responsible for a combined $16.5M budget. Robert is also a member of the Executive Leadership team and manager of the Employee Engagement Committee.

Prior to their current role, Mendoza served as Senior Sales Manager at South Congress Hotel and Hotel Ella, where they were responsible for new business development and client retention in the Healthcare, Financial, Auto, and Tech industries. Prior to that, they were Sales Manager at Sonesta Hotels and Sr. Sales Manager at Embassy Suites Austin - Central.

Robert Mendoza has a degree in marketing from Texas State University and a degree in marketing management from the University of North Texas. Robert also has an associate's degree in marketing from Austin Community College.
