The Hall Exeter occupies a stunning Grade II* listed Victorian Sunday school on Stepcote Hill in Exeter's Historic West Quarter.
The Hall is a versatile events venue hosting weddings, corporate celebrations, Christmas parties, workshops, memorial services, and community gatherings. We've preserved the building's architectural character - high ceilings, exposed brick, original features - while adding modern amenities that make events run smoothly.
We're an independent, family-run venue that genuinely cares about making your event special. Whether you're planning an intimate board meeting for 15, a wedding breakfast for 86, or a standing reception for 120, we handle the logistics with warmth and professionalism.
Our silent disco has become very popular, particularly for corporate Christmas parties. It solves the perennial problem of wanting music and conversation at the same event, creating a memorable talking point that sets your celebration apart.
We work closely with award-winning local caterer Bel's Kitchen, who create everything from working lunch platters to elaborate wedding feasts.
The Hall serves Exeter's business community with corporate events, team away days, training workshops, and Christmas parties. Recent clients include Ashfords Solicitors, EDF Energy, London Stock Exchange Group, and NHS teams. Architectural beauty, and a sense of occasion help people think differently than they would in a bland hotel conference room.
For couples getting married, The Hall offers something rare - a venue with genuine character and flexibility to create the day you actually want, in a space that photographs beautifully.
We love supporting our local community, offering charity rates for qualifying organisations and hosting memorial services with sensitivity and care.
We're small enough to care deeply about every event, large enough to handle complex logistics professionally.
