The HealthCare Connection was founded in 1967 as Ohio’s first community health center.  The mission is the same today as it was when first opened for operation. THCC serves low-income, underinsured, and uninsured persons living in northern Hamilton County.  THCC makes sure all patients receive the same access to quality healthcare as fully insured persons. 

THCC is a leader in providing affordable and quality healthcare. THCC strives to be compassionate.  THCC respects different cultures. THCC teams with other agencies in order to meet the complete needs of patients. 

THCC is proud to be one of five health centers nationally honored as “Models That Work” by the United States Department of Health and Human Services in 1995.  In 2002, the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers gave THCC the Landmark Recognition Award for pioneering work in community health.

The Healthcare and Clinical Services team at The HealthCare Connection focuses on providing comprehensive healthcare services to underprivileged populations in northern Hamilton County. This team includes professionals such as the Sr. Director of School-based Health & Vision Services, Clinical Manager, Director of Pharmacy, Registered Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, and Behavioral Health Provider. Together, they ensure holistic care by offering medical, vision, pharmaceutical, and behavioral health support, while striving to create an inclusive and compassionate healthcare environment.

The Leadership Team at The HealthCare Connection is responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing organizational operations, and ensuring the execution of its mission to provide quality healthcare to low-income, underinsured, and uninsured individuals. Comprising the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, the team works collaboratively to maintain high standards of care, foster partnerships with other agencies, and guide THCC in achieving its goals and upholding its values of compassion and cultural respect.
