Ruby Franzen

Ruby Franzen is a Development Manager at The Hechinger Report, where they maintain, operate, and expand membership and sponsorship programs. Since founding Pass Down the Gown in 2017, they have led a nonprofit providing free dress rentals and running a volunteer program for high school students. Ruby has previously worked as an Assistant Coach at Girls Unite and held roles with SuitUp Incorporated, where they contributed to fundraising efforts and event coordination. They are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and completed their undergraduate studies in International Studies and Economics at the University of San Francisco.
