Founded by a parent in search of the right educational setting for her son, and a group of educators with a passion for the school's mission, The Helix School opened its doors in 2013.  The Helix School's mission is to guide children on the autistic spectrum towards a fulfilling future through a dynamic, relationship-based, interdisciplinary education. 

The Helix School  provides a balanced, integrated curriculum tailored to each individual’s developmental level, sensory processing differences, and emotional-regulatory needs.  Emphasis is placed on relationship-based, motivation-based, kinesthetic and sensory-based learning.  The Helix School curriculum is integrated and individualized based on each students'​ interests.
