Our team of experienced surveyors are on hand to discuss the Party Wall Act and its relevance to you and your property. The Party Wall Act is an important piece of legislation, providing a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings.

If you are undertaking works to your property you may be required to serve a notice upon your neighbours. You are not permitted to act on your own behalf and as such the role of the party wall surveyor is not only a necessary one, but one that can help to facilitate friendly and effective communication with your neighbour. The Party Wall Act ensures that should damage occur, this is dealt with in a fair and reasonable way which leaves all parties satisfied
