The Horse Pub, nestled in the picturesque village of Woodgreen within the New Forest National Park, seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern comforts. Housed in a building that was originally two cottages, the pub has been extended to offer a variety of cosy and inviting spaces. Whether you’re a local seeking a familiar retreat or a visitor eager to experience authentic New Forest hospitality, The Horse provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Steeped in history, we have long been a cornerstone of the Woodgreen community. Our commitment to preserving the essence of a traditional country inn is evident in our old-school bar and classic décor. At the same time, we’ve embraced contemporary touches to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.

The Horse is more than just a traditional country pub – it’s a versatile space where locals and visitors can relax, dine, and celebrate. Whether you’re stopping by for a drink, enjoying a meal, or planning a special event, our facilities are designed to make everyone feel welcome.
