Jay Meisel is currently serving as General Counsel at The Humane League since 2025. Prior to this role, Jay held several positions at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, including Senior Associate General Counsel and Corporate Privacy Officer, and Vice President and Interim General Counsel. Jay's earlier experience also includes serving as Legislative Assistant in the Office of Senator Biden and working as General Counsel for Greenpeace USA from 2021 to 2025. Jay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and a Doctor of Law from the University of Virginia School of Law.
