The Illustration Department (ID) is a global leader in online education for illustrators. Since our founding in 2015, we have helped thousands of illustrators take real steps toward achieving their goals.

Countless ID alumni have signed with art and literary agents, received multi-book deals, found work with “dream” clients, and more.

Our mentorships, workshops, and other offerings are tailored to you and your objectives as an illustrator. No yearly subscription. No cliquey contests. No impersonal videos. Our remote learning model is based on one-on-one, real-time communication.

No matter where you are on your creative journey; no matter where you are in the world—we are here to help.

Please take a look around.
