Michael D. Mann

Michael D. Mann is a strategic adviser with over 15 years of experience leading international regulatory and enforcement strategy at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and more than 25 years in private practice, counseling public companies and financial firms on regulatory challenges worldwide. Currently, they serve as a board member at The Intercept and are a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Michael previously held key positions at the SEC, including Director of the Office of International Affairs, where they established critical relationships with foreign regulatory bodies and contributed to the development of international securities regulation. Their past roles also include partnership positions at Kibbe & Orbe LLP and Crowell & Moring LLP. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College and a Doctor of Law from Antioch School of Law.
