Formerly known as the Panel on Gamma and Electron Irradiation 'The Irradiation Panel' is a membership organisation dedicated to the advancement, development, promotion, regulation and practice of radiation processing using electron beam, gamma and X-ray technology.

Established in 1966 in the United Kingdom it now has members from across Europe and beyond. It meets twice a year to discuss the major issues and challenges facing the industry.
