Basia Monka

Basia Monka is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in art and culture writing, currently serving as a journalist for the Jerusalem Post since November 2018. Monka has worked as a freelance journalist since 2000, contributing to various publications such as "Gentleman," "Warsaw Voice," and "Super Express." In addition to journalism, Monka has held multiple roles in interpretation and coordination, including serving as an interpreter for the Italian delegation at the Haifa International Film Festival and being a travel consultant at IMTM 2022. Monka's diverse skill set is further demonstrated through roles as interpreter and assistant director on documentary sets, as well as coordinating visits and managing backstage tours for significant events like the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Monka received education from the University of Warsaw.
