The Joy Praxis was born from the radical, enduring truth that Black women are the blueprint. In every movement, every classroom, every birthing room, every boardroom — we have led, built, healed, and reimagined. And yet, we are too often expected to do that work without rest, without resources, without joy.
At The Joy Praxis, we reject that.
We believe that joy is not a luxury — it's a method, a strategy, and a birthright. Our work centers those who are dreaming, doing, and dismantling — in their bodies, their classrooms, their organizations, and their homes. Through our consulting, retreats, curriculum development, somatic practices, and care-centered offerings, we provide liberatory support that integrates the cognitive (thinking), emotional (feeling), and somatic (being).

We design spaces where theory becomes practice, where healing coexists with rigor, and where joy is used to build, not just survive.
