Formerly the Darren Randolph Academy, now rebranded as KAT Academy.

Founded by Darren Randolph, Ireland International and former Premier League goalkeeper, the academy was born from a clear vision: to give back to the next generation of goalkeepers and players by providing elite-level coaching, education, and support in a structured, professional environment.

Having progressed through schoolboy football in Ireland to the highest levels of the game, Darren understands what it takes to develop, compete, and succeed. KAT Academy builds on that experience, delivering high-quality coaching designed to help young athletes maximise their potential—both on and off the pitch.

The academy began in 2018 with the first Randolph Academy Football Camp in Darren’s hometown of Bray. Since then, the programme has grown nationwide, coaching thousands of children through camps, clinics, and year-round programmes aligned with school term breaks. In 2023, the academy expanded significantly in both participation and locations, partnering with clubs and organisations across Ireland.

Alongside player development, the launch of the KAT / DR Origin Goalkeeping Gloves marked a major step in building a complete performance ecosystem for goalkeepers—from grassroots to elite level.

Today, KAT Academy represents the next evolution of the original vision: a modern, performance-led academy delivering elite coaching standards, trusted expertise, and clear development pathways for young players across Ireland.

From grassroots to greatness, the journey continues.
