Ian Mercel

Ian Mercel is an experienced audio engineering professional currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at SAE Institute since December 2023. With a diverse background in the audio industry, Mercel has been an Audio Mixer at The Kitchen-- Dubbing Miami since November 2015 and has worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer since January 2006. Previous roles include Audio Specialist at Olympusat from February 2015 to March 2017, where responsibilities included restoring audio for broadcast and post-production work, and Engineer at Setai Recording Studio from December 2008 to August 2012. Ian Mercel holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music Technology from Florida Atlantic University, earned between 2003 and 2008.
