Following their undergraduate studies, Quak Foo Lee pursued further education at the University of British Columbia, where they earned a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from 2000-2003.

Quak Foo Lee later returned to the University of British Columbia and enrolled as a PhD candidate (ABD) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from 2003-2007.
