What began in 1949 as a small, home-based practice built on personal service and trusted expertise has grown into a full-service firm serving thousands of clients across New Jersey and beyond. From the start, our guiding belief has been simple: treat every client like family while delivering comprehensive tax and accounting support to both local businesses and individuals who need an advocate.

As our clients’ needs evolved, so did we. We expanded from traditional tax and accounting into innovative outsourced accounting solutions, helping businesses adopt smarter systems and stronger financial processes long before modern networks and cloud platforms became the norm. With that growth came a larger team, broader capabilities, and a firm identity that continued to reflect the scope of our work.

Over time, The Koenig Group added deeper planning services, including estate and trust guidance, to help clients protect what they’ve built and plan confidently for the future. We also strengthened our Client Accounting Services by adding a dedicated bookkeeping and payroll division, bringing together specialists who share the same commitment to timely, accurate, and dependable support.

Today, under the leadership of Managing Member Gary S. Mannuzza, Jr., CPA, CFP®, our firm has expanded to more than 30 associates and serves over 3,000 clients under our new identity, TKG Tax & Accounting, LLC. Our new headquarters located in Cranford, NJ, provides the space and technology needed to support our growing team—while keeping the same client-first values that have defined us from the beginning.
