Simone Thom is a Foote Fellow honor student at the University of Miami, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Business Entrepreneurship, and Sports Medicine, along with American Sign Language. As a Venture Consultant and Project Lead at The Launch Pad, they engage in entrepreneurial initiatives while also serving as a Research Fellow at the Simons Foundation, investigating genetic influences on zebrafish behavior. Simone's leadership is evident through roles such as Chapter President of the Mu Nu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, where they reactivated the chapter and enhanced community visibility. They are also the Founder and CEO of Sim's Desserts, a successful baking business, and actively contribute to various campus organizations while coaching peers on career development.
