Per Østergaard

Per Østergaard is currently the Principal Engineer of Cyber Security and Director of Digital Security at the LEGO Group, where they focus on securing millions of users, particularly children, across various platforms while ensuring compliance with COPPA, GDPR, and similar regulations. Previously, Per served in multiple positions at LEGO System A/S and worked as a Managing Consultant at Inceptio A/S from 2003 to 2010. With a strong belief in integrating security and privacy by default into development teams, Per actively collaborates across departments, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical work. They have achieved numerous Microsoft certifications and are committed to elevating the standards of IT security and data privacy.
