William Mitchell

William Mitchell is the Global Lead for Biodiversity & Water at the LEGO Group, where they shape and deliver strategies to drive positive outcomes for nature and the business. They have a strong background in sustainability, having previously worked at Deloitte as the UK Nature Lead within the Strategy & Risk Advisory practice, where they advised on nature- and climate-related risks and developed nature-positive strategies. William also served as Nature Coalition Lead for the Sustainable Markets Initiative, managing initiatives focused on natural capital and water. They hold a degree in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge and have experience as a consultant across various sectors, including oil and gas and strategic risk.
